Ted became a ski instructor at Terry Peak while attending South Dakota School of Mines. For the past 23 years, he has kept current and active within the PSIA community. In 2023, he achieved his Level 100 coaching certificate from USSA and became a coach for the Black Hills Ski Team.

Jennifer Rollins
In 2006 Claire started ski instructing in the Bavarian Alps. The sport brought her to Big Sky Montana where she met her husband who was also a ski instructor. The two of them share a love of the outdoors with their boys Alex and Jackson.

Academy, International Council of Military Sports, and continued racing as a USSA Masters level
throughout 22-year active-duty military career, whenever possible. She especially enjoyed Masters FIS
in Europe while stationed in Germany. After military retirement in 2017, full time trained and raced
with the Rocky Mountain Masters for two years. Although new to formalized coaching, Jennifer has lots
of miles on the snow in all four disciplines of alpine ski racing. She also shares her time with many
volunteer passions including Admissions Liaison Officer for US Air Force Academy, Rotary, American
Association of University Women, Daughters of the American Revolution, and most recently (2023) Ms.
Veteran American Second Runner-up, helping homeless women veterans find safe and suitable housing.
