Orthopedic Surgeon 

I have been skiing for almost 40 years. My grandfather was a ski instructor in Utah for years and I followed in his footsteps. I was a ski instructor alongside my wife at Deer Valley Ski Resort in Utah for several years. I then went on to join the National Ski Patrol and patrolled in the Midwest as well as in New Mexico. Since relocating to South Dakota I have been on the Black Hills Ski Team coaching staff for the past seven years with my older children and now continue to enjoy coaching my youngest son and all his friends. 

Jennifer Rollins

U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel, Retired

Alpine ski raced as a youth in Utah, participated in Junior Olympics twice. Raced for the US Air Force

Academy, International Council of Military Sports, and continued racing as a USSA Masters level

throughout 22-year active-duty military career, whenever possible. She especially enjoyed Masters FIS

in Europe while stationed in Germany. After military retirement in 2017, full time trained and raced

with the Rocky Mountain Masters for two years. Although new to formalized coaching, Jennifer has lots

of miles on the snow in all four disciplines of alpine ski racing. She also shares her time with many

volunteer passions including Admissions Liaison Officer for US Air Force Academy, Rotary, American

Association of University Women, Daughters of the American Revolution, and most recently (2023) Ms.

Veteran American Second Runner-up, helping homeless women veterans find safe and suitable housing.
